This Peanut 2 table lamp was produced by Fog & Mørup, one of Denmark’s most influential lighting manufacturers of the mid-20th century. Designed during the 1960s, the lamp reflects the experimental yet functional spirit of Scandinavian modern lighting from the period. Characterized by its playful, organic form and strong directional light, the design balances sculptural appeal with practical use. The lamp is crafted from metal with chrome elements, finished in a bold yellow lacquer that emphasizes its graphic silhouette and era-specific aesthetic. Its compact proportions and adjustable light direction make it well suited for desks, side tables, or accent lighting within curated interiors. Manufactured in Denmark, this piece exemplifies Fog & Mørup’s commitment to innovative design and high-quality production during the golden age of Danish lighting. The lamp remains in good vintage condition, showing visible signs of age and use, including surface wear consistent with its history, while retaining its original character and integrity. A distinctive and collectible example of 1960s Scandinavian lighting design.
