Passe Partout slatted ash bench by Walter Antonis for Arspect 1970s
SAFE PAYMENTS
Designed by Walter Antonis for Arspect (a sub-brand of 't Spectrum), this rare slatted “Passe Partout” bench is a striking example of 1960s–70s Dutch modernism. Crafted from ash wood and metal, it features varying slat widths that create dynamic visual rhythm, with vertical side slats maintaining continuity. Supported by four robust metal frames and secured by steel pins, the bench is both sculptural and solidly built. At 180 x 60 cm, it comfortably fits multiple users and embodies minimalist elegance akin to works by Martin Visser and Cees Braakman. In very good structural condition with light signs of use.
