Exceptional Swedish Modern cabinet attributed to Otto Schulz for Boet, crafted in Sweden during the 1930s and showcasing the bold decorative elegance that defined early Scandinavian modernism. Executed in solid oak with a leather covered façade adorned by brass nail detailing, this rare cabinet reflects Schulz’s celebrated “Bopoint” technique, where decorative brass studs became an integral part of the design language. Twisted oak legs, refined proportions, and the striking contrast between warm wood, leather, and brass create a sculptural presence that balances Swedish Grace sophistication with functional modernism. Inside, glass shelving and decorative interior detailing enhance both practicality and visual richness. Otto Schulz and his company Boet played a major role in shaping Swedish design history through innovative craftsmanship and expressive materials, making pieces like this highly collectible today. Ideal for Art Deco, Scandinavian modern, and curated interiors, this cabinet combines historic significance, architectural elegance, and timeless craftsmanship.
