The Samurai lounge chair, designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for Norr11 in 2018, is a refined blend of Japanese craftsmanship and Danish mid-century inspiration. The design reinterprets the traditional low hunting chair, featuring a sculptural dark-stained oak frame with clean, architectural lines. The seat is crafted from natural saddle leather, offering both durability and a rich tactile quality that develops character over time. Influences from 1950s Danish stick chairs are evident in its balanced proportions and elegant detailing. Comfortable and visually striking, the Samurai chair is suited to both contemporary and design-focused interiors. In very good condition with light wear, it remains a timeless and collectible modern design piece.
