This monumental sideboard originates from a private interior in Knokke, Belgium and was likely custom-made for the space. Crafted in ebonized wood, the cabinet features four wide drawers above four substantial panelled doors, creating a strong geometric rhythm across its 255 cm facade. Deep moulded door frames, small square drawer details and open grid-like side structures reinforce its architectural character, with clear stylistic affinities to the furniture vocabulary of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The ebonized finish preserves the visible wood grain while giving the piece a restrained graphic presence. Exceptionally substantial at 201 kg, the cabinet reflects impressive craftsmanship and construction. Presented in impeccable condition with virtually no signs of use.
