This elegant dining table was designed by HW Klein and manufactured by Bramin in Denmark in 1971, representing a refined continuation of Danish modern design into the early 1970s. The table retains its original logo and date stamp beneath the tabletop, confirming its authenticity and precise production year. The design is both visually striking and highly functional, showcasing Klein’s attention to proportion and material detail. Crafted in teak, the tabletop features beautiful and expressive grain patterns, complemented by a central extension system that allows the table to be extended from the middle. The extension leaf offers a well matched colour tone and can be conveniently stored within the table when not in use. A distinctive design detail is found at the corners, where the characteristic three connection stripes are visible, serving as both a structural and decorative feature. Preserved in very good condition, the table has been professionally restored by the renowned Møbelfabrik workshop, drawing on over 35 years of expertise in specialist wood treatments. A timeless and collectible dining table suited for both everyday use and entertaining.
Matching seating options shown in the second image are available separately, including a mid-century Danish set of six teak dining chairs by Erling Torvits for Sorø Stolefabrik from the 1960s. A matching set of six Bramin dining chairs is also available, with fabric selection still open upon request.
