A refined example of Mid‑Century Modern design, this vintage nightstand/end table by West Michigan Furniture Co. reflects an era when American furniture makers blended sleek modernism with warm wood tones and functional craftsmanship. Founded in Holland, Michigan, the company produced quality bedroom and dining pieces throughout the mid‑20th century, often incorporating fine veneers, elegant detailing, and practical forms into everyday pieces. This piece features a rich walnut wood construction enhanced by ebonized vertical columns and restored bronze drawer pulls, giving it a distinctive yet understated profile that complements both classic and modern interiors. The design speaks to the clean lines and organic proportions of the 1950s Mid‑Century Modern movement, offering timeless appeal whether placed beside a bed or used as a sculptural accent table. Crafted in the United States, this nightstand has been well cared for and refinished to showcase the grain and natural beauty of the wood. It remains in good vintage condition, with wear consistent with age that underscores its authentic history and character.
