This medical floor lamp is an authentic example of European industrial design from the 1950s, originally produced for professional medical or technical environments. Constructed entirely from metal, the lamp reflects the era’s focus on durability, precision, and functional clarity. Its articulated structure and adjustable lighting head were engineered to provide focused illumination, making it a practical tool in clinical settings. The lamp is accompanied by its original wooden transport crate, a rare and valuable survival that reinforces its historical integrity and provenance. Such crates were typically discarded after delivery, making this combination particularly appealing to collectors and design historians. Rooted firmly in the mid-century industrial aesthetic, the piece translates seamlessly into contemporary interiors, where its utilitarian form adds character and authenticity. The lamp has been preserved in excellent original condition, showing minimal signs of age and remaining fully functional. This piece offers not only reliable lighting but also a tangible connection to post-war European manufacturing and design culture.
