A beautifully crafted sideboard designed by Lucian Ercolani for Ercol, United Kingdom, during the 1950s. Celebrated for its timeless simplicity, this iconic piece showcases Ercol's signature organically shaped solid elm handles and the striking natural grain patterns that have made the brand a benchmark of British Mid Century Modern furniture. Expertly crafted from solid elm, the sideboard offers practical storage within a compact and elegant form, making it ideal for dining rooms, living spaces or contemporary interiors seeking authentic vintage character. The warm honey tones of the wood and refined craftsmanship reflect Ercol's enduring philosophy of combining beauty with everyday functionality. The sideboard has been carefully restored and is presented in good vintage condition. One handle has been professionally repaired, a discreet cable hole has been added, the original drawer basket in the right-hand cupboard is missing, and light age-related wear remains, all contributing to its authentic history.
