This vintage Le Bambole sofa, designed by Mario Bellini for B&B Italia in the 1970s, is an iconic example of Italian modern furniture design. Characterised by its soft, rounded silhouette and generously padded form, the sofa embodies the relaxed elegance and innovative spirit of 1970s interiors. Upholstered in velvet, its plush surface enhances the sculptural curves and inviting proportions that define the celebrated Le Bambole collection. Bellini's revolutionary approach eliminated the visual distinction between traditional frames and cushions, creating a unified, organic design focused on comfort and visual simplicity. Combining timeless Italian craftsmanship with a bold, informal aesthetic, this statement sofa is ideal for Mid-Century Modern, Postmodern and contemporary living spaces.
