This stunning black lacquered cabinet or bookcase was designed by Bruno Paul for Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau in the 1930s. Its design embodies the elegance and flair of French Art Deco while still being distinctly marked with the craftsmanship of Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau, showcasing the exceptional quality of German design from the era.

The piece features two sliding doors, behind which are shelves for storage, and two smaller doors below, all adorned with beautiful silver-colored decoration. The small legs elevate the cabinet, providing an elegant and refined aesthetic that adds to its graceful, streamlined form.

Despite being almost 100 years old, the cabinet is in remarkably good condition, showing only minor wear and tear consistent with its age, further enhancing its vintage charm and authenticity. It is a fine example of craftsmanship and design, perfect for adding a sophisticated touch to any interior.
