La Basilica dining table designed by Mario Bellini for Cassina, a monumental piece that reflects the architectonic vision of Italian contemporary design. Inspired by classical architectural forms, the table features a series of sculptural solid ash wood supports that resemble colonnades, creating a strong and rhythmic base. The expansive tabletop rests above this structure with clarity and balance, emphasizing proportion and materiality. Bellini’s design merges historical references with modern minimalism, resulting in a piece that is both timeless and expressive. Produced by Cassina, known for its exceptional craftsmanship, the table showcases precision construction and high-quality materials. Ideal as a centerpiece in dining or meeting spaces, La Basilica combines functionality with a powerful architectural presence.
