A beautifully crafted Kengu lounge chair and matching ottoman designed by Elsa & Nordahl Solheim for Rybo Rykken, Norway, during the late 1970s. An icon of Scandinavian Mid Century Modern design, the set features its original brown leather upholstery suspended on durable canvas within a sculptural bentwood frame, creating an elegant balance of comfort and craftsmanship. The organically curved construction provides exceptional ergonomic support, while the matching footstool completes the relaxed seating experience. The warm tones of the leather and bentwood make this set a timeless addition to a living room, reading corner or office, complementing Scandinavian, Mid Century Modern and Contemporary interiors alike. Professionally inspected by a craftsman, the chair and ottoman remain structurally sound and are presented in excellent original vintage condition with no unpleasant odours, no stains and only light signs of age and use. Two sets are available.
