This striking Brutalist sofa, designed in the 1970s by Italian designer Luciano Frigerio, embodies his vision of Mobili Scultura, furniture as sculpture. Crafted with exceptional attention to material and form, the piece features a solid wooden frame encased in rich cognac leather, creating a bold, architectural presence. The combination of robust structure and refined detailing gives the sofa a timeless, sculptural quality that defines Frigerio’s work. Over the years, the leather has developed a beautiful natural patina, enhancing its warmth and authenticity. Comfortable yet commanding, this piece is a rare example of Italian craftsmanship and 1970s design innovation, blending artistry, material integrity, and expressive modernism in perfect harmony.
