This original Hayat Roorkee Campaign Safari chair from the 1960s is in exceptional condition. The black leather shows minimal signs of wear, and the teak wooden frame remains in excellent shape, with only one strut being replaced in the past. All tensioning cables are intact, and the fittings are solid and undamaged.

Developed in 1933 by Hayat Brothers for British officials, the Safari Roorkee chair was designed for safaris. It could be quickly dismantled yet remained stable and comfortable, using premium materials like rosewood, mahogany, teak, and top-quality leather.
