Harlow TPA 240 dining table designed by Ettore Sottsass for Poltronova, Italy, 1970s. A landmark of Italian radical design, this piece captures Sottsass’s bold exploration of form, color, and material during a transformative decade in his career. Crafted in dark lacquer with steel accents, the table presents a strong architectural silhouette balanced by refined detailing. The rich lacquered surface enhances its sculptural presence, while the steel structure ensures stability and durability. Both expressive and functional, the design reflects Sottsass’s ability to challenge conventional modernism and redefine domestic furniture as visual statement. Preserved in excellent condition, the table retains its depth of finish and structural integrity. A highly collectible work that embodies the innovative spirit of late twentieth century Italian design.
