This solid oak coffee table was handcrafted by an unknown carpenter during the 1960s or 1970s. Its straightforward construction and substantial material give the piece an honest, understated character, with subtle variations that suggest individual craftsmanship rather than industrial production. Over more than fifty years, the oak has developed a warm natural tone and distinctive patina, including small marks, tonal variations and traces of everyday use that form part of its history. The unknown maker adds to the table's individual appeal, allowing the quality of the material and construction to take precedence over attribution. Simple, functional and full of character, it is a versatile piece suited to both contemporary and traditional interiors. The table has been cleaned and inspected, and worldwide insured shipping is available.
