Elegant hand blown glass table lamp designed by Bengt Orup for Hyllinge Glasbruk and produced in Sweden around 1970. The lamp features a refined conical silhouette that reflects the clean and modern aesthetic associated with Scandinavian glass design. Its white glass surface is decorated with thousands of delicate black dots, creating a subtle textured pattern that gives the piece depth and visual sophistication. Bengt Orup, a renowned Swedish glass designer, was known for combining simple geometric forms with expressive surface decoration, and this lamp exemplifies that approach beautifully. The tall and slender profile gives the piece a sculptural presence while maintaining the understated elegance typical of Nordic design. Both functional and decorative, this lamp base serves as a striking lighting object that complements mid century, modern, and minimalist interiors.
