This iconic 1970s German two seater sofa, crafted in August 1976, embodies the sleek precision of European modernist design. Upholstered in rich black leather and supported by a polished chrome steel frame, the sofa reflects the era’s pursuit of streamlined form and everyday comfort. The minimalist silhouette and architectural metal structure create a striking balance between visual lightness and structural strength. The original leather remains in very good condition, free from odors and stains, with only subtle age related patina that enhances its authentic vintage character. The resilient chrome legs provide both stability and refined contrast to the dark upholstery, making the piece a powerful focal point in contemporary interiors, loft spaces, or curated design collections. A compelling example of 1970s German craftsmanship that merges sculptural presence with functional elegance.
