Beautiful example of Franco Albini’s iconic Fiorenza lounge chair for Arflex, 1990s production. Originally designed in 1952, the Fiorenza merges Albini’s architectural precision with inviting ergonomic comfort. This edition features the characteristic interlaced walnut X-frame that supports the arms and back with sculptural clarity. Newly reupholstered in a dark grey mélangé fabric, the chair offers a crisp contrast to the warm wood while preserving the clean, linear character of Albini’s design. The rubber foam padding is in excellent condition, ensuring comfortable support. Light, age-consistent wear is visible on the walnut frame, and the original Arflex label is present. A timeless Italian design classic, refined, comfortable, and highly collectible.
