This elegant Model FD 164 lounge chair, designed by Arne Vodder for CADO in Denmark during the 1960s, exemplifies the refined craftsmanship of Danish Mid-Century Modern furniture. Featuring a sculptural solid teak frame, beautifully shaped armrests and balanced proportions, the chair combines timeless Scandinavian design with exceptional comfort. The original teak structure has been carefully cleaned and refreshed, preserving its warm natural grain and authentic vintage character. The cushions have been professionally reupholstered in richly textured rust-red fabric, creating a sophisticated contrast with the wood. Presented in excellent vintage condition, the frame remains sturdy and stable. A distinctive statement piece for contemporary, Scandinavian or eclectic interiors. Price is per chair, with two matching chairs available.
