The F588 swivel lounge chair by Geoffrey Harcourt for Artifort is an iconic example of Dutch modern design, originally introduced in 1967. Designed with a sculptural, enveloping shell that supports relaxed seating, the chair reflects Harcourt’s focus on comfort combined with architectural clarity. Produced in the Netherlands by Artifort, it features a smooth swivel base that enhances functionality in both residential and office settings. The chair has recently been reupholstered in soft black leather, giving it a refined contemporary presence while preserving its original character. Minor scratches are visible on the leather, consistent with careful use. With its fluid curves and ergonomic form, the F588 remains a timeless statement piece suited to modern, minimalist and design focused interiors.
