This elegant mid-century dining table was produced by the renowned Tatra company in Czechoslovakia during the 1960s. Crafted from solid oak and featuring a stunning walnut veneer on the top board, the table is finished in a high-sheen shellac which makes the table easy to use and protect. The tabletop displays a striking pattern of wonderful veneer, giving the piece a refined visual depth that complements both modern and traditional interiors. The table retains its original manufacturer’s label (partially preserved) on the underside, a mark of authenticity and heritage. It extends easily to a total length of 180 cm, comfortably seating six to eight guests. The legs screw on and off, allowing for convenient transport or storage.
The piece remains in very good original condition with minor signs of age and use. A small dent on the tabletop—visible in photos—has been professionally blended during a light restoration and does not detract from the table’s overall aesthetic.
A timeless and functional addition to any dining space—an excellent vintage find with enduring appeal.
