Sculptural Eros console table designed by Angelo Mangiarotti for Skipper and produced in Italy during the 1970s. Crafted entirely from Carrara marble, the piece exemplifies Mangiarotti’s innovative approach to structural design, where elements are joined through precision and gravity rather than mechanical fixings. The clean rectangular top is supported by solid marble legs, creating a refined architectural composition that highlights both balance and material purity. The natural veining of the marble adds depth and individuality, making each example unique. Mangiarotti’s work is celebrated for transforming stone into functional sculpture, and the Eros series remains one of his most iconic designs. Both minimal and monumental, this console table serves as a striking statement piece in contemporary, modern, or collectible interiors.
