This vintage Danish lounge chair from the 1970s combines the warmth of natural pine with the bold geometric proportions of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design. Crafted from pine, the substantial wooden frame features a rich golden patina, beautifully visible grain and a protective varnished finish that enhances the timber's natural character. Its distinctive square silhouette is softened by four rounded finials crowning the corners, adding a playful decorative detail to the otherwise architectural construction. The open-sided design and generous proportions create an inviting seating experience, complemented by comfortable cushions upholstered in finely striped fabric. The upholstery retains its shape and original colour, showing only minimal signs of use. The solid, weighty frame remains structurally firm and stable, reflecting the durability of traditional Danish craftsmanship. Preserved in excellent vintage condition, this armchair requires no restoration and is ready for immediate use. A distinctive accent piece for Scandinavian, rustic, Mid-Century Modern or eclectic living spaces.
