This vintage Danish Mid-Century Modern lounge chair combines sculptural elegance with exceptional comfort. Reminiscent of the iconic Pragh chair by Madsen and Schubell, its organic silhouette features distinctive club-shaped legs, a rounded button-tufted backrest and an open wooden frame. Crafted from solid beech, the visible structure has a rich, dark-stained finish with subtle varnish that enhances the natural wood grain. The chair retains its original light brown fabric upholstery, showing minor wear consistent with age and use, but remains free from holes and odours. The frame is solid, stable and structurally sound. Despite its compact appearance, the chair offers generous seating comfort. Professional reupholstery in fabric, velvet or bouclé is available upon request, allowing for a personalised finish. An elegant statement piece for Scandinavian, Mid-Century Modern or contemporary interiors.
