This elegant Danish mahogany desk from the 1950s combines Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern craftsmanship with refined details in the style of Ole Wanscher. Crafted from richly grained mahogany, the desk features a deep, warm wood tone, clean architectural lines and slender legs finished with decorative brass caps. Matching brass handles complement its sophisticated design. A distinctive feature is the concealed rear compartment with a built-in rotating bin that swings in and out for convenient access. The reverse side also includes doors and practical storage, allowing the desk to be positioned freely in the center of a room. No internal lighting is installed. All components function correctly, and the structure remains firm and stable. Preserved in very good vintage condition, the desk displays only minor surface wear consistent with age. The Ole Wanscher connection is stylistic rather than a confirmed attribution.
