This Danish highback armchair was manufactured circa 1970 to 1975 and reflects the comfortable proportions and functional character of Scandinavian design from the period. The chair retains its original red furniture velour, complemented by warm ash wood legs and a tall, supportive backrest. Its double-sided seat cushion features traditional internal springs and offers two distinct upholstery finishes, red velour on one side and patterned jacquard furniture fabric on the other, allowing the appearance to be easily changed. Preserved in very good original vintage condition, the chair has a stable construction with no stains or unwanted odors reported. Manufactured by a Danish furniture maker and sourced directly from Denmark, this original Scandinavian vintage armchair has been inspected by a craftsman and is ready for continued use.
