This Danish Brutalist executive desk from circa 1960, attributed to Henning Kjærnulf, combines sculptural Baroque influences with Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design. Crafted primarily from solid oak with oak-veneered side and back panels, it features a warm patina, an expansive tabletop and distinctive turned oak legs. Six symmetrical drawers with original brass ring pulls provide practical storage, while the upper drawers retain working locks and keys. Each drawer measures 30 x 38 cm (W x D), with 60 cm of legroom width. The reverse features an open bookshelf measuring 130 x 22 x 29 cm, making the desk ideal for freestanding placement in an office or study. Carefully inspected, it remains structurally firm and solid, with natural age-related patina. Worldwide shipping is available, including optional express delivery. The attribution to Kjærnulf remains unconfirmed.
