This vintage Danish oak cabinet from the 1960s combines Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern craftsmanship with sculptural Brutalist details in the style of Henning Kjærnulf. Crafted in warm, honey-toned oak, it features geometric relief-carved doors and side panels, decorative wrought-iron butterfly hinges and ornate escutcheons. A scalloped apron, turned legs and distinctive wavy H-stretcher create an architectural silhouette with rustic Baroque influences. Inside, two spacious shelves measuring 39 x 60 cm provide practical storage for tableware, books or decorative objects. The apron sits 46 cm above the floor. Carefully inspected, the cabinet remains structurally firm and solid, with natural vintage patina consistent with age. Ideal for a dining room, hallway or eclectic living space, this distinctive piece combines functional storage with timeless Danish craftsmanship. The Henning Kjærnulf association is stylistic rather than confirmed.
