This Danish two-seater Banan sofa was manufactured circa 1965 to 1970 and reflects the soft, sculptural character of Scandinavian furniture from the period. Its gently curved silhouette is upholstered in original striped red furniture velour, complemented by warm oak wood legs and original brass springs in the seat. The combination of rich textile, natural wood and rounded proportions gives the sofa a distinctive vintage presence while remaining versatile for contemporary interiors. Preserved in good original condition, the sofa has a stable construction with no stains or unwanted odors reported. The upholstery and frame show wear consistent with age and use, contributing to its authentic character. Sourced directly from Denmark, this original Scandinavian vintage sofa has been inspected by a craftsman and is ready for continued use.
