Designed by Taichiro Nakai for La Permanente Mobili Cantù and featured in the 1955 Prima Selettiva, this exceptional cabinet exemplifies mid-century Italian innovation. Composed of cherry, ash, and maple woods, it features five modular compartments supported by a striking black-painted zigzag metal frame. The design includes shelves, drawers, hinged and flap doors, and internal glass shelving—offering both function and visual intrigue. Accented with brass handles and slatted panels, the piece has been fully restored in our workshop, honoring its original craftsmanship and historic significance.
