This beautifully proportioned cabinet was designed by Cees Braakman for Dutch manufacturer Pastoe as part of the Made to Measure series, originally conceived in the 1950s. Its playful architectural composition combines a warm teak exterior with contrasting black back panels and an off-white door, creating a distinctive graphic character. Open shelving, drop-down doors and adjustable aluminium legs provide practical storage while maintaining a light and visually open appearance. The clean lines and varied arrangement of compartments reflect Braakman's functional approach to Dutch Mid-Century Modern furniture and the flexibility of the Made to Measure system. Ideal as a storage cabinet or display piece in modern and eclectic interiors. The cabinet remains in very good vintage condition.
