This compact cabinet was designed by Cees Braakman for Dutch manufacturer Pastoe as part of the Made to Measure series, conceived in the 1950s, with this example most likely produced in the mid-1960s. The cabinet combines a warm teak exterior with a light birch interior, contrasting black back panels and adjustable aluminium legs that give the piece a visually light appearance. Its practical configuration features adjustable open shelves above and a drop-down door below, providing generous storage within compact proportions. A refined example of Dutch Mid-Century Modern furniture, the cabinet reflects Braakman's functional approach to modular storage and works equally well independently or combined with other pieces from the series. Presented in very good vintage condition.
