An iconic C18 Shaker dining table designed by Børge Mogensen for FDB Møbler in Denmark during the 1960s. Crafted in oak, the table reflects Mogensen’s functional approach to Danish Modern design through a clear trestle construction, honest materials and carefully balanced proportions. The broad rectangular top features softly rounded corners and a gently shaped edge, supported by two architectural trestles connected by a central stretcher for stability. Subtle circular supports create a slight separation between the tabletop and base, adding visual depth while preserving the restrained silhouette. The original FDB Møbler mark and production number remain beneath the top, confirming authenticity. Presented in very good vintage condition with light age-related wear and a stable construction.
