Brutalist rope table lamp attributed to Audoux and Minet, France, 1970s. A sculptural example of French mid century modern lighting, this piece features a hand wrapped rope stem that introduces rich natural texture and artisanal character. The organic silhouette balances rustic materiality with refined form, reflecting the playful yet disciplined design spirit associated with 1970s French interiors. The tactile rope contrasts beautifully with minimalist settings, adding warmth and depth to consoles, side tables, or reading corners. Originally wired for European voltage and fitted for a standard E27 bulb, the lamp remains in good vintage condition with age appropriate patina and minimal wear that enhance its authenticity. A rare and characterful lighting piece that bridges handcrafted aesthetics with functional modernism.
