This exceptional highboard with an integrated bar cabinet, designed by Frans Defour, embodies the refined craftsmanship of Belgian mid-century design. The front features a stunning mosaic of oak veneer tiles, arranged with precision to create a harmonious play of texture and tone. Inside, the highboard provides ample storage with multiple adjustable shelves and a dedicated bottle compartment, balancing practicality with visual sophistication. Reminiscent of the work of De Coene, this piece combines geometric structure, material richness, and elegant proportion. In very good condition with a beautifully aged patina, it radiates warmth and authenticity. Both functional and decorative, this highboard stands as a timeless example of mid-century artistry and design excellence.
