This elegant bar cabinet by Fábrica de Móveis Giesse was produced in Brazil during the 1960s and reflects the refined material language of mid century Brazilian design. Crafted in richly toned hardwood, the piece is topped with smoked glass and accented with brass details, creating a sophisticated interplay of warmth and reflective contrast. Its architectural composition balances solid wooden volumes with lighter surfaces, offering both display and practical storage for glassware and spirits. The combination of smoked glass and brass highlights the modernist sensibility of the period while preserving the natural beauty of the wood grain. Presented in very good condition with age appropriate wear consistent with careful use, this cabinet retains its authentic patina and stands as a distinguished serving bar or sculptural focal point for curated interiors.
