This striking armchair is a refined example of mid-century modern design, where sculptural form and structural clarity come together in a visually compelling composition. Defined by its dynamic, asymmetrical silhouette, the piece captures the era’s fascination with clean lines and expressive geometry while remaining grounded in functional design.
Constructed in three distinct elements, the chair features two angular armrests that seamlessly extend to form both the front and rear legs, creating a bold architectural framework. Crafted in richly toned walnut, these structural components display sharp, precise lines and a beautifully articulated grain that enhances their visual impact. The front legs are distinctive, shifting inward before angling outward and rising sharply, introducing a sense of movement and tension to the design. The seating element contrasts this geometry with a more grounded and comfortable presence, completing the composition.
