These elegant Late Victorian parlor chairs from the 19th century showcase refined European craftsmanship and classical decorative details. Crafted from solid mahogany, the frames feature gently arched upholstered backrests with curved wooden top rails, intricately turned baluster front legs with knop and ring detailing, and gracefully curved sabre back legs. Small carved wooden bosses accentuate the front seat corners, adding sculptural character. The chairs retain their original red and cream vertically striped upholstery, finished with hand-applied decorative rope cord trim. The beautifully aged fabric complements the warm honey-toned mahogany patina and remains in good condition, without holes or tears. Ready for immediate use, these antique chairs are ideal for a traditional dining room, parlor or eclectic interior. Reupholstery is optional for those seeking a refreshed appearance.
