This elegant mid-19th-century French-style sofa combines Louis XV-inspired craftsmanship with the romantic character of provincial furniture. Crafted from richly grained walnut, its sculptural frame features a gracefully curved backrest, intricate hand-carved floral motifs, a scalloped apron and cabriole legs with scroll feet. The light velvet upholstery beautifully contrasts with the warm walnut finish and remains in excellent condition, with soft fabric and firm, supportive springs. The wooden structure is sturdy, stable and ready for everyday use, retaining its authentic antique character. Ideal for traditional, French country, Hamptons-style or eclectic interiors, this distinctive sofa brings timeless elegance to any living space. A matching lounge chair and dining armchair with coordinating carved details are also available separately.
