This antique Baroque Revival secretary bureau from the early 20th century combines architectural elegance with practical storage. Likely of Northern European or Scandinavian origin, it is crafted from solid oak with a rich honey-toned patina. The slanted drop-front opens to reveal a fitted writing interior with small drawers and compartments. Below, three spacious serpentine-front drawers provide additional storage, complemented by ornate brass-style handles and escutcheons. Hand-carved bracket feet complete its sculptural silhouette. Preserved in excellent antique condition, the bureau showcases beautiful wood grain and traditional craftsmanship. The writing surface stands 74 cm high, with a 47.5 cm deep interior desk area and a 36 cm fold-out flap. Total depth when open is 83 cm. An elegant addition to traditional, eclectic or contemporary interiors.
