This striking Art Deco style three seater sofa is crafted from a combination of elm and mahogany wood and stands out for its elegant proportions and bold visual presence. Supported by eight tapered feet finished with brass ends, the sofa combines solid craftsmanship with refined decorative details. The upholstery features a dramatic black and white striped fabric that wraps around the entire piece, making it an unmistakable eye catcher and a strong statement in any interior. Originating from the first half of the 19th century, dating between 1800 and 1850, the sofa reflects an early and expressive approach to form, structure, and ornamentation. It is offered in good vintage condition, showing signs of usage and natural ageing consistent with its age, which add to its character and authenticity. Dimensions are height 87 cm, width 191 cm, depth 70 cm, with a seat height of 43 cm.
