The Alky lounge chair by Giancarlo Piretti, designed in the late 1960s, is one of the most recognizable icons of Italian design. Defined by its soft, enveloping lines and compact sculptural silhouette, the Alky embodies the playful yet refined spirit of late modernist seating. This example has been reupholstered in elegant powder pink bouclé, a contemporary fabric choice that enhances its curved form and exceptional comfort. The textured upholstery adds visual depth and tactile richness, making it suitable for both modern and vintage inspired interiors. Compact yet inviting, the Alky functions beautifully as a lounge chair in a living room, bedroom or contract setting, easily becoming a focal point within the space. A timeless Italian design classic that combines iconic form with sophisticated material presence.
