A distinctive adjustable swivel armchair in the style of Thonet, manufactured circa 1960–1965 and combining classic bentwood craftsmanship with practical functional design. The chair features an elegantly curved beech bentwood frame, complemented by breathable furniture mesh and a robust cast iron seat mounting that provides stability and allows the seating position to be adjusted. Its sculptural curves and honest combination of wood, mesh and metal reflect the enduring influence of traditional Thonet furniture on twentieth-century European design. Preserved in good original vintage condition, the chair is free from stains and odours and remains structurally stable, with authentic wear consistent with age and use. Professionally inspected by a craftsman and ready for everyday use.
