This elegant 20th-century side table in the Louis XV style showcases refined French-inspired craftsmanship and decorative marquetry. Its graceful demi-lune, kidney-shaped silhouette features richly patterned wood veneers, with striking chevron parquetry across two drawers. Decorative bronze handles, ornate escutcheons and gilt bronze mounts along the shoulders and scalloped apron enhance its sophisticated character. Slender cabriole legs finished with delicate bronze sabot feet create a light, sculptural appearance. Compact yet practical, this petite commode offers convenient storage and works beautifully as a bedside table, nightstand or accent chest in traditional, eclectic or contemporary interiors. Preserved in excellent vintage condition, the piece displays a warm natural patina and remains structurally firm and solid. Carefully inspected and ready for use, it combines timeless Continental elegance with everyday functionality.
