A substantial German round dining table from the 1980s, combining the warmth of solid teak with the clean, reflective character of chromed steel. The design is centred around a sculptural teak support mounted on a chrome steel base, creating a strong architectural silhouette typical of late 20th-century European furniture design. The round tabletop provides a practical and sociable dining surface, while the substantial construction gives the table excellent stability and a reassuring sense of quality. The chrome base and central structure remain in excellent condition, while the tabletop is very well preserved with only a few superficial scratches consistent with age and use. A heavy, well-constructed vintage table that works beautifully in Postmodern, Mid-Century inspired and contemporary dining interiors.
