This impressive Sheraton sideboard, designed by Giotto Stoppino in 1977, offers a bold postmodern reinterpretation of the traditional Italian credenza. Distinguished by its oversized projecting top and architectural silhouette, the piece features an innovative combination of sliding and hinged doors. When opened, the doors reveal decorative chrome framing, central sliding drawers and glass shelves on either side, providing versatile storage and display space. Unlike the more commonly seen lacquered versions, this example features a distinctive untreated wengé-look finish, lending warmth and understated elegance to its sculptural design. The original manufacturer markings remain present, preserving its authenticity and collectible appeal. Exceptionally well maintained, the sideboard is in very good vintage condition, with only minimal visible wear on the top surface.
