This striking Modena sideboard, designed by Belgian designer Frans Defour for Defour in the 1970s, showcases the bold geometry and architectural elegance of Brutalist furniture design. Crafted with a solid oak frame and decorative oak veneer door panels, the cabinet features a distinctive geometric pattern created by alternating wood grain directions. Its strong proportions and sculptural silhouette are beautifully balanced by the warmth of natural oak, making it a sophisticated addition to both contemporary and traditional interiors. The minimalist construction highlights the craftsmanship and expressive character of 1970s Belgian design. Preserved in excellent vintage condition, the sideboard retains its impressive appearance and practical storage functionality. Please note that one interior drawer is missing, although this does not affect the overall usability of the piece.
