This rare Model 82 Embassy Chair, designed by Niels O. Møller in 1970 and manufactured by J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark, exemplifies the refined elegance of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern furniture. Distinguished by its commanding, nearly one-metre-high backrest, the chair combines architectural presence with exceptional Danish craftsmanship. Crafted from solid teak, the frame features beautifully balanced proportions, warm natural grain and a freshly oiled finish. The original dark brown leather seat offers comfortable support and displays an attractive vintage patina, with minor scratches and subtle colour variations consistent with age. Structurally sound and carefully preserved, the chair remains in very good original vintage condition. The manufacturer's mark is present beneath the seat, making this a distinctive collector's piece for elegant dining and formal interiors.
